Banner Ads - Cost Per Mille (CPM)

There are two banner payment options on DailySplit.com. The first one is a CPM Model. CPM or Cost Per Mille (where "Mille" is Latin for a thousand) charges a set rate per 1,000 views or impressions of your ad. This allows you to maximize your return as you are only paying for instances when your ad is visible on the loaded page.

You may also purchase a predetermined number of impressions. Once your ad reaches its budgeted total, it is automatically removed from the ad rotation and your spot is available for purchase, by you or another advertiser.

Banner Ads - Monthly

Alternatively, our ad spots are sold in 30-day periods using a PayPal subscription. At the end of the 30-day period, your ad will automatically be renewed unless otherwise specified.

640x480 Ads

The 640x480 video ads can be placed at the beginning of any Daily Split videos, just like a TV commercial. The occurrence of ads in channels is randomized during each video play to all for an equal exposure between different advertisers. There are only eight video ad spots available in the rotation. You may increase the occurrence of your ad by purchasing more ad spots - buy all eight rotations and you will appear before every video play. Price per rotation spot is determined on length of ad (see below). The video ad cannot be bigger than 3MB in size or longer than 30secs.

You may purchase an ad spot to a specific video to ensure 100% exposure when that specific video is played. This is an extra cost that is applied in addition to the original price dependant on length.

Daily Split Medium Rectangle

The 300x250 image ad is the primary ad visitors will see when coming to the site. It is located on the home page next to the opinion polls and under the sponsorship application. This ad appears on numerous pages in apparent locations.

This ad space only has eight ad spots in the rotation. You may increase the occurrence of your ad by purchasing more ad spots - buy all eight rotations and you will own the entire spot and have your ad displayed 100% of the time. The banner cannot be bigger than 25k in size. Animation allowed, Flash not permitted.

728x90 Leaderboard Banner Ad

The 728x90 ad will appear at the bottom of all pages. On the home page, these ads can be found in two locations surrounding the information strip. Ad placement between ad spots is randomized during each page load to allow for an equal exposure between the different advertisers. This ad has eight rotation spots available. You may increase the occurrence of your ad by purchasing more ad spots - buy all eight rotations and you will own both spots and have your ad displayed 100% of the time. The banner cannot be bigger than 15k in size. Animation allowed, Flash not permitted.
